Prof. Ahmed Alabdulwahab is a full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering at King Abdulaziz University. He has been a consultant to the Electricity and Co-Generation Regulatory Authority in Saudi Arabia and a visiting scientist at Kinectrics and the University of Manchester.
Leading a multinational team composed of 100 members. Ignited the transformation of JCC from a traditional academic institution to a professional training institution to become the host of 5 testing centers and 7 internationally accredited training center including CII for insurance, ACCA for accounting, CIM for marketing, Cisco and Microsoft for IT and CEH for ethical hacking. Expanded our training services for new customer segments in the corporate sector. Exported our training products to other universities. He is a certified accreditation team member by the American Council of Occupational Education and he participated to evaluate and number of American colleges.
The cofounder and managing director of King Abdulaziz University Business Accelerator. Trained by Babson college to works with entrepreneurs to make their way to success. He worked with over 20 startup companies. Professor of Electrical Engineering, Certified Energy Manager CEM by the AEE. Curried out funded research projects in the area of renewable energy, power system reliability and smart grids. Published in prestigious ISI journals. Received MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the university of Saskatchewan, Canada.
